Create your Figma Go account

Use the same Google account in the dashboard and plugin so usage and billing stay attached to one workspace.

Connect your AI client

With the Figma Go CLI on your PATH, run the direct setup command from the project where you want it available. It detects supported clients and adds the MCP connection.

Install the Figma plugin

Open the plugin package supplied with your account, then import its manifest in the Figma desktop app.

Open the bridge and test it

Run Figma Go inside the file, keep the plugin window open, then ask your AI client to inspect the current selection.
